I began my career in accountancy as part of the graduate programme at Shorts after completing my undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology, before deciding on a career change.

Since joining Shorts, I have worked within the admin and audit team and joined Genus full time in January 2026. This has allowed me to build experience in a range of different areas including Audit and Accounts, Corporation Tax, Bookkeeping and VAT submissions.

I am responsible for my own portfolio of clients, producing monthly and quarterly management accounts, supporting clients with bookkeeping, and producing year‑end financial accounts. I am Xero certified and currently studying towards my ACA qualification, constantly looking to build upon my technical knowledge and experience to better support our clients and contribute to the wider team. I am keen to bring a people‑focused perspective to my work and enjoy building meaningful relationships our clients.
