My payroll journey began as a payroll administrator and I quickly progressed to payroll supervisor and then to manager.
During my 25+ years as a payroll manager, I have gained vast experience in multiple ‘end to end’ payrolls from relatively basic payrolls, right through to more complex. I have worked closely with the finance, pensions, and HR teams and my experience with in-house payroll practices has also provided me with an understanding of payroll from a client’s perspective.
I relocated and joined Shorts as Assistant Payroll Manager in 2017. My role includes assisting the payroll manager, the audit of payrolls processed by our team, advisor, complex query resolution, keeping up to date with relevant legislation, and ensuring that we continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
