I began my career in accountancy straight after leaving school at aged 16. I gained my AAT qualification working at a family run accountancy practice in Doncaster where I acquired valuable experience working with a broad range of clients. This gave me great insight within a number of services for different types and sizes of business’ which helped me understand their business needs and requirements.
I moved on to a firm in Sheffield where I specialised in accounts and taxation within the entertainment sector, where my career progressed from a semi senior accountant up to portfolio manager.
After over a decade in the industry, I recognised I needed a new challenge to further progress my career, therefore I joined Shorts in 2024 as Owner Managed Business Manager to further develop my career.
