I joined Shorts as a Partner after 11 years of training and experience gained at the international firms Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

As both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser I am well placed to provide comprehensive, commercial, and sensible advice to my clients, which are mainly SME and family companies, charities, partnerships, and individuals.

I am a registered auditor and as well as providing accountancy and taxation advice, I pride myself in keeping in touch with my clients throughout the year so that I can act as a sounding board and trusted adviser advising them on a timely basis.

I have been an active member of the ICAEW and I was very proud to hold the position of President of the Sheffield & District Society of Chartered Accountants for 2017/18.  This role involved representing the interests of Chartered Accountants locally and promoting the business community of Sheffield and South Yorkshire around the UK.
