I have over 20 years of accountancy experience and am ACCA qualified.

For the first 3 years of my career, I worked for an accountancy firm in Rotherham, then the next 15 years at a practice in Worksop where I was responsible for the preparation of accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies. During that time, I also gained experience in payroll, VAT, and bookkeeping.

I joined Shorts in May 2019 to work within the healthcare department and now work solely on clients within the Healthcare sector. This marked a new area for me but one which I find interesting and enjoyable. The breadth of experience that I gained prior to this role, has greatly assisted me in the transition to healthcare, and in the advice and support that I am able to now provide to clients.
