I joined Shorts in 1989 after a short spell in industry, and continued my apprenticeship where I gained my AAT qualification.

Starting my accounting career with sole traders and partnerships across a wide variety of trades and sectors, I was quickly introduced to the audit team where my experience and knowledge expanded greatly.  I have spent most of my 30-plus years with both teams and managed a small portfolio of clients.

When a colleague retired, I took over managing their portfolio of Trust accounts and I was delighted to move to the Private Client team a few years ago to continue my work with Trusts and expand my expertise further to include Estate accounts.
