I joined Shorts as a management accountant, following 8 years in small accountancy practices where I gained experience in a variety of different areas from payroll to year-end accounts and tax.
Given my extensive experience with cloud-based accounting software, my role quickly expanded into training and implementing Xero and add-on software for our clients. The demand for this service has grown quickly, resulting in a new Projects department being created – which I now manage.
I am naturally inquisitive – always looking for efficiencies and new ways to do things so now I apply this to client’s processes – which is something I really love as it allows me to find ways to save client’s time and make processes more streamlined and efficient.
