I started work in the accountancy industry in a small accountancy firm in Doncaster, straight from school at the age of 16. During my time there, I gained knowledge in a variety of areas including payroll, CIS, personal and corporate tax.
When I joined Shorts, I was initially a member of the Accounts team before moving into our Genus team when business accounting increasingly moved onto the cloud, I was promoted to Manager in 2018 and to client finance director in January 2023.
We provide monthly management accounts, cash flows, budgets, and virtual FD Services to businesses of all sizes, I pride myself in maintaining a close, regular contact with my clients and achieve great satisfaction in looking for ways to suggest improvements to my client’s systems and procedures to increase their efficiency and helping clients with business strategy and achieving their long-term goals.
