I joined Shorts following many years working in Corporate Finance for a large independent South Yorkshire accountancy firm. I have also undertaken a senior finance role in industry, working for an acquisitive Group.
During my career, I have gained an experience and an appreciation of the many issues and opportunities faced by businesses during all market conditions and economic cycles. This experience has been used to provide invaluable advice to clients across all areas of corporate finance including MBOs, acquisitions, disposals and finance raising assignments.
In the past, I performed interim FD roles for clients when a robust view of trading performance and cash flow has been required. I see my ability to work as part of the team when performing these assignments as one of my key strengths.
Over the years I have built up a particular expertise in preparing forecasts for both internal and external use. I have also carried out due diligence reviews for both funders and some of South Yorkshire’s largest national and international businesses.
